Kangaroo Valley is located just two hours drive from both Sydney and Canberra, but feels a world away. The picturesque valley is surrounded by Morton National Park and wilderness, with the lush pasture on the valley floor in contrast to the sandstone cliffs that form the valleys walls. Its accessibility and unspoilt natural environment make Kangaroo Valley the ideal holiday or adventure destination.

Kangaroo Valley is a quiet village, nestled between the white beaches of the South Coast, and the Southern Highlands in New South Wales. It is reputed to be one of only seven fully enclosed valleys in the world - it is difficult to do justice to the beauty of Kangaroo Valley.

The combination of rainforest clinging to the steep slopes of the escarpment, the splendour of the river as it weaves its way through the countryside, the patchwork quilt of farms, and the small creeks which cross the valley, all make it a special and particularly attractive place. These qualities have been recognised by the National Trust, which classified the village in 1977.
